About Static Pass Box

A Static Pass Box is a cleanroom equipment used for transferring materials between two areas of different cleanliness levels (such as from a non-clean area to a clean area) without much air movement and without personnel movement. Unlike dynamic pass boxes, it does not have a built-in air supply or HEPA filter for purging.

Key Features & Description

• Construction:

  • Made of high-quality stainless steel (SS 304/316) with smooth, cleanable surfaces.

  • Double-walled design with flush doors for airtight sealing.

• Operation:

  • Used for the transfer of non-sensitive or already-cleaned materials.

  • No air circulation or HEPA filtration inside the pass box.

  • Equipped with interlocked doors (mechanical or electromechanical) to prevent both doors from opening at the same time, thus minimizing cross-contamination.

• Doors & Interlocking:

  • Toughened glass view panel for visibility.

  • Mechanical or electromagnetic interlocking system ensures only one door opens at a time.

• Applications:

  • Transfer of documents, small instruments, or pre-cleaned materials.
